The double-sided upper and lower case letters are genius for teaching my daughter that "A" and "a" are the same sound. She matches the picture to its beginning sound before placing the piece, which keeps her busy way longer than her old single-letter puzzle ever did.
My 4-year-old caught on fast that each letter has both a big and little version in the same puzzle, which I didn't expect from a wooden alphabet toy. The pieces are chunky enough for small hands, and matching the picture to its sound keeps her busy way longer than I figured.
