My daughter just turned three and she's already matching the numbers to the pictures underneath on her own. The voice saying each number when she sets a piece down keeps her coming back to it way longer than her other puzzles, which honestly surprised me.
The pieces are easy for my son to grab and place, and the number sounds are clear enough. That said, the puzzle only speaks when a piece is fully pressed down, which takes some extra force from little hands. It works, but the response could be more forgiving.
The sound only triggers when my daughter places a piece just right, which frustrates her when she's rushing. The wooden pieces are sturdy and easy for small hands to grab, but I wish the volume had a lower setting because it's pretty loud.
