My 3-year-old can finally grip puzzle pieces without getting frustrated, thanks to how chunky these are. The matching number printed underneath each piece is a nice touch too, since he can check his own work.
My 3-year-old counts the little pictures under each number piece before slotting it back in, which is honestly more than I expected from a puzzle. Only gripe is that a couple of the painted numbers arrived with tiny scuffs, but they've held up fine through daily use.
The pieces are thick and easy for little hands to hold, and I love how the matching numbers underneath help with self-correction. My only small gripe is that the counting pictures are a bit tricky to count at a glance.
