The chunky cardboard pieces are thick enough that my 2-year-old can't bend them, which is a nice surprise since most puzzles we've tried get wrecked fast. She mostly just matches the banana the animals are sharing, but it keeps her busy for a solid 20 minutes.
Our 4-year-old loves the big floor pieces—they're easy for small hands to grab. The banana-sharing safari scene is adorable and kept him engaged for a good 20 minutes.
My 3-year-old can actually finish this on her own, which says a lot since most floor puzzles lose her halfway through. The pieces are thick cardboard and survive being stepped on, and the banana-sharing scene gets her giggling every time.
