Bought this for a 6-hour flight and my daughter barely looked up once. The six markers are surprisingly vivid against the black velvet, and those hidden patterns popping out as she colored kept her hooked the whole trip.

The velvet-flocked backgrounds really do make the marker colors pop, way better than plain paper. My daughter spent almost an hour on one scene at the restaurant, and the hidden patterns appearing as she colored kept her hooked.

Bought this for a flight with my 6-year-old and she stayed busy the whole two hours. The six markers are bright enough that the hidden patterns actually pop against the black velvet, which she thought was straight-up magic.
