My 6-year-old figured out the patent-pending connectors on his own in about ten minutes, and now the lunar base he built stays together even when his little sister bumps the table. The mix of wood and other materials gives it a nice weight, and the 38 pieces are plenty for two kids to share without

These blocks are sturdy wood, not flimsy plastic, and the 38 pieces give enough variety for real builds. My son spent a whole afternoon snapping together a lunar base with the special connectors — they click in satisfyingly. Definitely worth it for space-obsessed kids.

My 5-year-old figured out the connectors on her own and built a little rover with a satellite dish the first afternoon. The 38 pieces are plenty for two kids to share without fighting over parts. Only thing is the pieces are smaller than I pictured, so keep an eye on toddlers.
