The chunky wooden letters are perfect for my 5-year-old’s fingers, and she’s already sounding out new words after a week of play.

My 4-year-old actually sits still for this, which says a lot. The wooden letters are chunky enough for her small hands to grab, and she's already matching them to spell simple words on her own.

My 4-year-old can actually grip these letters without frustration, which was the whole problem with our old plastic set. The only downside is there aren't enough word cards for two kids to play at once, so we take turns. Still, she's starting to sound out the letters on her own after a couple weeks.
