The magic pen is genuinely magic — my son watched the colors bloom on the seahorse page and gasped. The seek-and-find part on each page kept him busy way longer than I expected, which is a win on rainy afternoons.
My daughter spent a solid hour on the sea turtle page, watching the patterns appear with each pen stroke. The seek-and-find part on every page kept her busy even after the coloring was done.
The magic pen actually works, colors show up fast and my daughter gasped when the patterns appeared on the seahorse page. We've done four pages already and she keeps going back to find the hidden items in each scene.
