My four-year-old has been sliding the wooden boards in and out on her own, which keeps her busy way longer than I expected. The colors on the beads make counting practice feel like play instead of a lesson.
The sliding boards are a clever touch—my kindergartner loves flipping them to switch between counting and color matching. It’s sturdy enough for our playroom, and she’s already learning patterns without it feeling like homework.
My 4-year-old actually chooses this over the tablet, which I did not expect. The double-sided boards slide in snugly and she flips them herself to switch between adding and subtracting. The beads glide smoothly on the wires, so no snags when little hands are counting fast.
