Kept my 6-year-old busy for a solid hour on a long car ride, which never happens. The boards are thick enough that the markers don't bleed through, and having the number key right on each page means she barely needed my help.

The felt-tip markers tuck right into the cover so nothing rolls under the car seat. My 4-year-old figured out the number matching on her own by the second board. Twelve boards is plenty for a few restaurant dinners.

Bought this for a 5-hour flight and my 6-year-old stayed busy the whole time. The boards are thick enough that the markers don't bleed through, which is more than I can say for the flimsy coloring books we've tried.
